Adams Community Park Committee Celebrates AES's Generosity in Advancing Community Park Project
The Adams Community Park Committee is thrilled to announce a significant contribution from AES towards the development of the much-anticipated Adams Community Park. AES is a great local partner and the largest renewable energy owner and operator in the state of New York, with a number of solar projects under development in the region. Their projects go beyond powering our grid with clean energy, they build meaningful partnerships in communities, and we are grateful to work with them. This company has graciously donated $19,200 toward costs for essential elements of the park, particularly the swing set.
Since its inception in the fall of 2019, the Adams Community Park Committee has been tirelessly working to transform a 2.9-acre parcel into a vibrant hub for recreational activities. Located at 22 Wardwell Street, the former Schultz Elementary School site, this park holds immense potential as a central gathering place for the community.
AES's generous donation not only accelerates the project's progress but also exemplifies the spirit of collaboration and community support that defines the Adams Revitalization Committee's efforts. Their contribution will leave a lasting impact on generations to come, fostering a sense of belonging and joy within the community.
The Adams Community Park extends its heartfelt gratitude to AES for their unwavering support and commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Adams. Together, we look forward to the continued transformation of Adams Community Park into a cherished space for all to enjoy.
